Il senso di colpa è un sentimento radicato nella nostra società e il peso sulla coscienza talora porta a punirsi. Non riuscendo ad affrontare le conseguenze delle proprie azioni, spesso si tende a cercare la strada più semplice e veloce. Noxa risponde proprio a questa esigenza, proponendo all’utente un’espiazione rapida e industrializzata per alleviare il malessere del rimorso. Il progetto suggerisce l’autopunizione come miglior modo per arrivare all’espiazione delle proprie colpe, attuata grazie ad un kit composto dal Confessore – giudice che emana sentenze – e tre linee di oggetti studiate per l’espiazione. Noxa affronta anche il tema della gogna pubblica, eliminando la paura del giudizio altrui e il bisogno di trovare le parole per ammettere i propri errori facendo coincidere confessione e punizione. L’utente si sentirà alleggerito, ma il senso di colpa sarà davvero cancellato? Guilt is an deep-rooted feeling in our society that sometimes leads to self-punishment. Instead of facing the consequences of our actions, we often prefer the easiest way out. Noxa offers the user a quick and industrialised form of expiation to relieve the uneasy feeling of guilt. The project suggests self-punishment as the best way to expiate sins, performed through the kit composed of the Confessor – a judge who issues decisions – and three product lines designed for expiation. Noxa also addresses the public pillory issue, removing the fear of others' judgement and the need to find the words to admit a mistake by combining confession and punishment. The user will feel relieved, but will the guilt really disappear?
